Wore these cognac boots straight out of the box for a 3-mile walk and zero break-in blisters. The perforations on the toe cap let my feet breathe way better than plain leather. The laces actually stay tied too, which never happens with my other boots.
The full leather lining makes these feel broken in from day one, no rubbing at all. The perforations on the toe cap are a nice touch too, keeps them from looking too plain. Wore them through a rainy week and the cognac color just got richer.
Wore these straight out of the box for a full day of walking and my ankles never complained, the lacing really does hug them nicely. The cognac color is deeper in person than the photos showed, and those little perforations on the backstay keep them from looking plain.
