I was worried the velvet would feel stiff but it's actually soft right out of the box. The thick sole gives me good grip on wet pavement, and the gold buckle stays put without pinching. Wore them all day at work and my feet were fine.
The caramel star print is even prettier in person and the gold buckle gives them a nice dressed-up touch for work. Walked around all day in them and the thick sole kept my feet comfortable on the tile floors. Sizing felt true to my usual.
