The smocked waist actually stretches enough to pull over a cloth diaper without a fight, which I didn't expect. The écru and pink floral print is soft and vintage-looking, and it pairs perfectly with a dress and tights for winter.
I've washed these three times already and the organic cotton hasn't pilled or faded one bit, the little pink flowers still look crisp. They're roomy enough to layer over a collant without any bulk under a dress, which is exactly what I needed for winter.
The smocking on the waist actually stretches, so it fit my niece comfortably without digging in. Paired it with tights and a dress and she stayed warm all day at the park. The organic cotton feels soft right out of the wash too.
