My daughter usually yanks hats off within seconds, but this one stays put and she leaves it alone. The sewn-on bow is a smart touch since she can't pull it loose, and the pink is lovely in person. Kept her head warm on our stroller walks all through January.
The merino wool is noticeably softer than the acrylic hats we've had before, and it hasn't gone scratchy after a few washes. The bow being sewn on instead of loose is a relief with a toddler who pulls at everything.
Bought this for my daughter's winter walks and the Mako cotton lining feels lovely against her cheeks. The bow is sewn down flat, which I appreciated since she's at the age where she pulls at everything. Washes up fine too, no pilling so far.
